WIRO Member Participates in Training on Mediation and Conflict Management
A representative from Women initiative and resilience organization (WIRO)took part in a two-day training workshop organized by UNTMIS for 20 members of the South Women Peace Network. The training was held in Baidoa from October 25–26 and focused on mediation and conflict management.
The sessions aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and practical skills in peacebuilding, dialogue facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Participants also engaged in group discussions and case studies to apply what they learned to real community challenges.
Through this initiative, WIRO reaffirmed its commitment to supporting women’s participation in peace processes and promoting social cohesion across South West State.
