On 19 January 2026, the Women Initiative and Resilience Organization took part in a one-day Community-Based Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Mentorship Session in Baidoa District.
The event gathered community members, young people, and local leaders to explore pressing community issues, exchange perspectives, and propose practical responses. Through participatory discussions and mentorship, the session was facilitated by Kalkal Human Rights Development Organization with support from the SIHA Network, contributing to stronger leadership, increased community participation, peacebuilding, and social unity.
