The Women initiative and resilience Organization (WIRO) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting inclusivity and providing aid to marginalized communities in Somalia. WIRO is promoting building resilience that means developing the capacity to recover from setbacks, adapt to change, and keep moving forward despite stress or hardship.
The Women initiative and resilience Organization (WIRO) focuses on both prevention and response techniques to address the ongoing humanitarian issues, such as droughts and disaster risks. It seeks to improve and fortify fundamental social services in local communities, guaranteeing that necessities like access to water, health care, and education are met. It also generates jobs and funds income-generating initiatives that target women, youth, internally displaced people (IDPs), and impoverished rural communities. These initiatives seek to lower poverty rates and make a significant contribution to the accomplishment of the country’s development objectives.
